Effects of BaO and B2O3 on the Absorption of Ti Inclusions for High Titanium Steel

In order to study the effect of BaO or B2O3 on absorption Ti inclusions, effects mold fluxes with different contents (0~15%) mass transfer coefficients TiO2 TiN were studied rotating cylinder method. The experimental results show that addition in flux, coefficient increases from 4.58 × 10−4 m/s 6.08 m/s, 3.09 4.41 2CaO·MgO·2SiO2 is transformed into BaO·2CaO·MgO·2SiO2, and inclusions combine CaO form CaTiO3. With 7.46 5.50 2CaO·B2O3, exist TiO2. During experiment, will be titanium oxide.
